TOURNAMENT OVERVIEW
- LIVE-MONEY TOURNAMENT ON FRIDAY, APRIL 4
- One $1,500 Santa Anita Derby Challenge seat for every 10 entries.
- Buy-in: $300 ($150 Bankroll + $150 Entry Fee to Prize Pool).
- 100% of Entry Fees are paid out as prizes.
- Online registration begins approximately 96 hours in advance of the tournament and continues through the start of the fifth (5th) to last Santa Anita Park race on the contest date.
FORMAT
- Eligible contest races are ALL live races at Santa Anita Park on Friday, April 4, 2025.
- You must make $15 Win/Place bets on one (1) horse in five (5) different live races at Santa Anita Park for a total of $150 wagered. No more or less than $15 Win/Place shall be played on any one (1) horse.
- You must play five (5) different horses in five (5) different races at Santa Anita Park.
- You may only bet $150 during each tournament in the form of five (5) $15 Win/Place bets.
- In the unlikely event of a cancellation of a race card, Tournament Officials reserve the right to substitute races from another racetrack or cancel the tournament and issue refunds to all participants.
PRIZES (BASED ON 75 ENTRIES)
- Seven (7) entries into the Santa Anita Derby Challenge (April 5) handicapping tournament, valued at $1,500 each.
- $750 cash prize to the eighth-place finisher.
PRIZES (BASED ON 35 ENTRIES)
- Three (3) entries into the Santa Anita Derby Challenge (April 5) handicapping tournament, valued at $1,500 each.
- $750 cash prize to the fourth-place finisher.
