Yonkers Raceway finishes the week with a 10-race card. The $1.00 Late Pick 4 starts in Race 7, and the sequence will be my focus. Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

Race 7 (9:00 PM EST)

1-Diamante Trio It (3/2)-This mare has won 9 of 36 this year, and some of the pictures came against Invites. Should have her way with this crew with a smooth trip. When trainer Nick Devita and Anthony Napolitano team up they post 27% winners and should add to that total tonight.

Race 8 (9:20 PM EST)

4-Talk Curdy To Me (7/2)-Battles tough foes on large and small ovals. Has hit the board in 5 of 6 at Yonkers with 1 picture. Needs a trip to win, could get the pocket behind Grace and take a swing down the lane.
8-Grace Hill (2-1)-Her class showed last week and drew off at even money versus this kind leaving from post 6. Jason Bartlett steers again and should be out and rolling from the word "go".

Race 9 (9:40 Pm EST)

3-Lloyd's Love (9/5)-Stayed inside racing against Invites last time and still finished 2nd. Now lands in a softer spot. This looks like a drop and pop situation. Does like to win, has taken 17 pictures in 31 starts this year.
7-Ultimate Speed (20-1)-Went off at even money against $60k claimers last time. Broke stride at the start and lost all chance. This is another who likes to win (36-10-11-4), fits with this kind and is well worth a swing at a hefty mutuel.

Race 10 (10:00 PM EST)

2-Black Tie Bash (4-1)-Ships in from Ottawa and knows its way around this oval. Got stuck with post 8 on 11-8 and put in a needed start. Should fit well with this crew and could be sitting on a big try.
5-No Drama Please (5/2)-Program chalk drops and may have met a beatable field. Jordan Stratton gets the nod and could have the veteran forwardly placed. Looks like a main player at a short price.
6-Creative Venture (5-1)-Doesn't win often but at this level shouldn't be overlooked. Showed improvement versus this company last time. Dan Dube may try to leave and take control. Has the gate speed to be put in play and should offer a fair price.
