Yonkers Raceway has an 11-race card to finish the week. The $1.00 Late Pick 4 starts in Race 8, and the sequence will be my focus. Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

Race 8 (9:20 PM EST)

1-Lloyd's Loves (5-1)-Dropped to an advantageous level last time, went off at 3/5 and looked the part. Faces Invites tonight and came 2nd to Grace Hill at that level on 11-15. Should get a close-up seat, maybe the pocket, and will respect at a square price.
4-Talk To Curdy To Me (8-1)-Shipped in from M1 and got the pocket ride behind Grace Hill and cashed a 2nd place check. This time Tyler Buter could work a covered trip and look to roll by down the lane at a price.
8-Grace Hill (5/2)-Finished a beaten 5th in the FanDuel at M1, now comes back to Yonkers and attempts to keep its perfect record intact (3-3-0-0). Jason Bartlett could have the pedal down and land on the point. But, if necessary, could look to grind it out, and can win that way as well.

Race 9 (9:40 PM EST)

3-Freestarflight (12-1)-This will be a test, but the mare likes to compete and has been there at the wire. Has won 7 of 29 this year and 6 of 18 at Yonkers. Jordan Stratton can be aggressive in this spot and the price is inviting.
4-McMarkel Sparkle (3-1)-Went gate to wire 2 back versus this kind and then found the Invites too tough. Drops back to a level for success. Jason Bartlett got the job done on 11-15 and he will be back in charge tonight.

Race 10 (10:00 PM EST)

2-Warrawee Yang (7/5)-Recent form hasn't been good and the short price is tough to swallow. But this is wake up time and there is no real excuse for not being there at the wire.
4-Windson Pioneer (5/2)-Like the morning line choice, lands in a soft spot and should be heard from. Jim Marohn may look to leave and control the mile.
7-Rodeo Hill (9/2)-Made a rare break in last versus better after taking some money. Could rebound and lands in a good spot for that to happen. Can offer a square price and is a use in gimmicks as well.

Race 11 (10:20 PM EST)

1-Vlllage Jade (6-1)-This is a sneaky price shot that won at this level the last time in this soft back on 8-16. Has the gate speed to get a good early seat. If dialed on high could land in the pocket behind #4 or #3. Has won 9 of 51 at YR and will look for a big try with this post draw.
3-Hello Yes Hi (2-1)-Ron Burke 4-year-old has good gate speed and does nice work at YR (19-5-2-5). Should be a main player but could be bet down and will also look to others with more value.
4-Ideal Cover (7/2)-Might have the best gate speed of the group and will need it as this level could be a stern test. Using because if Brent Holland lands on the point without burning much gas, he knows how to rate a mile.
