Northfield Park has a 16-race card with the $1.00 Late Pick 4 starting in Race 11. The sequence has a $10,000 guaranteed pool with a 14% takeout, and it will be my focus.

Race 11 (9:40 PM EST)

4-A Delightful Act N (2-1)-Has been in the hunt in the last 2 starts at this class. Comes off a wide trip and the beaten chalk should be a main threat moving in a couple of slots. Aaron Merriman will be leaving, and despite others with gate speed he will be racing near the top of the stack.
5-Think of Galaxies (5/2)-Worked hard to get the top from this post in last and came up a neck short. Does know how to win against this kind but needs a sharp steer by Hunter Myers.

Race 12 (10:02 PM EST)

6-Holymotherofmoses (5/2)-Ronnie Wrenn returns from a Holiday break and he is back to steer the Miller trainee who is looking for its 3rd straight. Has been very consistent since early November and will look for another strong effort to extend the winning streak.

Race 13 (10:24 PM EST)

1-Fear Of Moonlight (12-1)-The early speed comes from the program chalk. Might surprise at a price if lands in the pocket. If Keith Kash can protect the rail good things could happen off a cozy trip.
3-Tell The Dream (7/2)-Recent form has been dull for the Dayton shipper but this appears to be a spot to wake-up. Has the speed, and can get a good steer with Merriman between the pipes. Should be in the mix if the turns aren't a problem.
7-Super Girl (8/5)-Beat this kind rather easily in the last 2 starts and has won a total of 3 in a row. Starting outside could hinder chances for another picture but deserves respect, especially with Wrenn getting the call.

Race 14 (10:46 Pm EST)

1-Go Go Lyla Jane (3-1)-Has been stuck starting outside in the last 4 races. Likes to get on the engine and has a chance for that trip to work out. Should be no worse than in the pocket off the gate. Does like to win (22-11-3-2) in 2024, and has 3 pictures in 10 starts at Nfld.
2-Cold Road Soda (5/2)-Will toss last after being 10-lengths back at the 1st call in a no-move mile. Merriman will be in the bike this time and that along with an inside draw could make a winning difference. Should be racing near the top of the stack once the wings fold.
