Hoosier Park has a 14-race card to close out the week. The 0.50 Early Pick 4 starts in Race 6, and it will be my focus. Comments and selections below are based on a fast track.

Race 6 (8:15 PM EDT)

1-Dans Credit (3-1)-Went gate to wire in the 2nd start off the bench and drew off by 5 lengths. This is a good step-up in class but not out of reach with a smooth trip.
6-Tough Muscle (2-1)-Got the top and didn't look back and is in for a $25k tag so will start outside again. Has the gate speed to get on the point and the race should go through the Burke trainee.

Race 7 (8:38 PM EDT)

7-Bold And Brassy (6-1)-Will shoot against the program chalk #8-Rookie Hill who broke in its last start. Willing to toss the last race coming off the bench to face better. Drops to a level of past success and gets a new pilot in Trace Tetrick.
9-Fifty Flat (10-1)-This veteran came off the bench and downed the $5k claimers in impressive fashion. Raced wide and rolled by with a 27.1 last quarter. This will be a test, and the post doesn't help but the price should be right to take a swing.
10-Get E Up (9-1)-Makes the 1st start for the Stewart barn and that outfit posts 18% winners with horses just claimed. Got a bumpy trip in last, has been camera shy, and will be a juicy price. This hot stable has won 42% of its starts over the last 30 days.

Race 8 (9:01 PM EDT)

2-Sprightly (5/2)-Raced well to finish 2nd in the 1st race since 1-14. Comes right back against the same kind and should get a cozy trip again. This is the 2nd start on Lasix and could seal the deal tonight.
6-Ponda Aesthetic (2-1)-Rolled the back half in 57.1 to take a picture in the 1st race in 4 months. Likes HoP hitting the board in 18 of 37 races and has posted 6 wins. Looks like the one to beat with a fair trip.

Race 9 (9:24 PM EDT)

5-Ponda Jet (9/5)-Made its 2nd start of the year against this kind and got on the engine in last. Came a close 2nd losing the lead late in the mile. Went off at 3/5 and will be a small price this time as well but should be ready to take top honors.
